Saskatchewan PNP Points Calculator
Score yourself on the SINP International Skilled Worker points grid used by the Employment Offer, Occupations In-Demand and Saskatchewan Express Entry sub-categories. With a job offer, 60 of 110 points lets you apply. Without one, 60 puts your expression of interest in the pool and you apply only if invited. Every point has to be backed by a document.

How SINP scores you
In 2026 Saskatchewan reserves at least 750 nominations for graduates of Saskatchewan institutions with a job offer in a priority sector (agriculture, health care, skilled trades, energy, mining and minerals, manufacturing and technology). The Employment Offer sub-category excludes truck drivers, who apply under the Existing Work Permit sub-category, and health occupations in NOC broad category 3, which go through the Health Talent Pathway or Students sub-category.

What the points do not cover
- Employment Offer and Occupations In-Demand applicants need at least CLB 4 and at least one year of work experience in their occupation in the last ten years.
- Saskatchewan Express Entry candidates need a language result that meets the federal Express Entry requirements, a valid Express Entry profile number and Job Seeker Validation Code, and one year of experience in the last ten years (two years in the last five for skilled trades, or one year in Canada in the last three for Canadian Experience Class).
- Employment Offer applicants need a permanent, full-time job in a TEER 0 to 3 occupation with an approved Employer Position Assessment, validated in your OASIS account within 10 days of notification. With 60 points they can apply.
- Occupations In-Demand and Saskatchewan Express Entry candidates need no job offer, but 60 points only enters their expression of interest in the pool. They can apply only after an invitation, and the last published selection, on September 12, 2024, invited down to 88.
- Regulated occupations and compulsory trades need Saskatchewan licensing eligibility, and some regulators ask for language scores above CLB 4.
- Every point you claim must be backed by documents attached at submission; incomplete applications are closed and returned.
Saskatchewan PNP questions
Is 60 points enough to be nominated?
Sixty is the minimum, not a promise of nomination. Employment Offer applicants with 60 can apply. For Occupations In-Demand and Saskatchewan Express Entry, 60 only enters you in the expression of interest pool: you apply only if invited, the last published selection on September 12, 2024 invited down to 88, and SINP says there are no scheduled EOI draws at this time. Saskatchewan's allocation is set by the federal government each year, and in 2026 at least 750 nominations are reserved for Saskatchewan graduates with priority-sector job offers.
How much is a Saskatchewan job offer worth?
Thirty points, the whole connection factor, for Employment Offer applicants. Without a job offer the most you can score on that factor is 30 as well, but only by combining a close relative in Saskatchewan (20) with past Saskatchewan work (5) and study (5).
Which occupations cannot use these sub-categories?
It depends on the sub-category. For Employment Offer, the job must be in TEER 0, 1, 2 or 3, truck drivers must use the Existing Work Permit sub-category, and health occupations in NOC broad category 3 must use the Health Talent Pathway or the Students sub-category. Occupations In-Demand and Saskatchewan Express Entry candidates cannot use an occupation on SINP's Excluded Occupation List, and selections can be limited to the occupations SINP chooses.
Does older experience count?
Yes, at half weight. Experience in the five years before you apply scores up to 10 points; experience six to ten years back scores up to 5.
Do I need a language test?
Employment Offer and Occupations In-Demand need at least CLB 4. Saskatchewan Express Entry follows the federal Express Entry language requirements. The grid awards 12 to 20 points for a first-language test and up to 10 for a second-language test. Some employers and regulators ask for higher scores than the program minimum.
